Hey Karen, that's a cool Strat, who's playing steel?....
Here's a shot of me with my trusty Telecaster and old BMI 12 stringer.........JH in Va.
Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!

And Marino has my vote so far.
But Bill, your OP specified Pedal Steel, and Marino does't even have a volume pedal!
Ok, he get's my vote too, if I had one.

Ha! Technically you are right but it is MY $50.
And that is just too cool.
Maybe straight steel players are just so much cooler than pedal steel players.
You guys gonna get beat by a guy who doesn't even have a volume pedal?

Okay,
Amendment to the rules: after Howard, all steel players are now included. If you play steel, you are welcome to join the contest. (actually I realize if I'm waiting for only pedal steel players who are cool, we'll never make it 20 and b0b won't get his money).
At this point, the non-pedal guys are kicking butt.

Now THAT is an album cover! Va-va-VOOM!

Maybe not "way cool", but it was "way fun!" Was also a long time ago.

I sure do not think I look cool playing. My head bent down showing my balding going on. However, no one has commented that it hurts their eyes, yet.
