I saw the new guitar in St. Louis and it looked great. It just might be the next one I buy. It had the clip on pad and seemed to work fine. I didn't play it but I'm sure I'll get a chance before too long. Very nice Doug and Bruce.

stage 2

Post by Jack Mattison »

hEY Doug.......... Is the price you gave, the price toped out with extras and case??? or is there a basic price like the stage one. Have been looking for a lighter guitar, because its killing me to pack around my heavy old ShoBud D-10, which i don't want to get rid of because of the bottom neck. So thought I would get a single 10....... :?

The price is $1499 for 3x5 with case, choice of humbucker or single coil pickup. Fourth pedal is $80, either pad is $50.
Production is about to start. I just need to finish up about a dozen Stage Ones. Stage Ones are still only $949 with 3x4 and case.

Hi Doug, are the Encores going to have similar color schemes as the Stage One? I have to mention, I saw a picture of a Stage One somewhere around here that had a Red top surface, and Black around the front , back & sides. That was slick.

Hi Daniel,
The same basic colors will be available, and maybe a few more.

Here is a picture of the keyhead that will be used on both the Encore and Stage One, it's mounted on a Stage One. The bridge and neck are taller on the Encore.

I think a lacquer job on the underside will probably be the standard.

Sounds like a few of these have made it out the door and I was hoping someone who was lucky enough to get one could provide some feedback on the new guitars.

Cheers,
Andy

Nice, Roger! I'm on the list for one as well, I was just hoping to hear some feedback on the ones already out there. I trust that Doug is putting out a great product but pics, discussions and/or videos of a new one will keep me satisfied until mine can be built.

No, I'm not impatient at all!

Patience is a virtue.
Unfortunately it is very hard to learn. I've been trying for about 50 years with limited success.
Hang in there, there will be more information put out in the next week or so.
A few have gone out the door, but not to people who participate in the forum regularly.

Thanks for the note Doug, now back out to the shop with you!

I'll wait, I'm just excited :D
