New Jazz CD: Now Available for Digital Download

Post by Jim Cohen »

I'm pleased to announce that my new CD, "Pedal Steel Jazz" is now available for digital download at CDBaby. You can either download the entire album or individual tracks at:

(For those who prefer physical discs, those should be in stock at CDBaby for shipping within about a week -- and, of course, I will have them at ISGC in St. Louis next weekend.)

It has been a great pleasure to work with some of the best real jazz cats in Philadelphia, plus jazz guitar legend, Jimmy Bruno, on this album.

PLUS, it's a great and humbling honor to have the participation of 6 of my own steel guitar heroes:
  • Reece Anderson
    Lucky Oceans
    Randy Beavers
    Buck Reid
    Doug Jernigan
    Chuck Campbell

They are all featured on an original jazz-blues tune I wrote called "Jimbeaux's Blues" (Track 8) (By the way, I have listed them in the order in which their solos appear on the track; Jimmy Bruno's guitar solo is in the middle, and my own is the last, following Chuck Campbell's unmistakable sacred steel-styled solo).

I hope you'll enjoy the album as much as we enjoyed recording it for you!

Best to all,

Jimbeaux

Hi Anders; nice to 'see' you again. The answer is that CDBaby only provides the front cover. However, I will be happy to send the remaining cover art by email to you and to anyone who requests it. Just let me know!

Best wishes and thanks for your query.
