I knew you guys would do the bug-eyed thing!!!...Shock effect kicks ass!
This is just another example of the incredible work being done at Mullen Guitars...Shaun Mantey really worked a lot of hours getting this baby perfect, and I couldn't be more pleased with the aesthetic appeal..This is my Blueberry 12 that has been refinished in the new lacquer pearl mica...Also I added a 6th lever staggered on the left side....Cant wait to see her on Thursday, and get her all TWEAKED out!!!..

That is hot! :whoa:

Best looking mica guitar I've ever seen....bar none.

I always loved the look of Italian accordions and drum kits.......and this has it in spades.

More pix please

Hi Mickey:

Beautiful Mullen G2. What type of pickup is the blade? I have a blue swirl mick G2 with a stagered LKL on my guitar with no RKR and two vertical levers.

7 pedals and 6 knee levers total.

Regards,

Lenny

Looks amazing....but do you have a matching outfit to wear when you play it?
Just wondering if you notice any tonal difference in the "pearl" covering vs. the mica (since they're made from different material)?

Something tells me you guys that visit my youtube channel will be seeing a lot of this guitar!!...As soon as I get it back here...(which will be Monday) Ill be posting some more pictures.
Ive had numerous requests for my current copedent, so I will doing a video explaining how I arrived at my new setup too!..
The pickup in this guitar is a Telonics..(the 4th one Ive tried). Not sure of the number, but it read 19.2k..
Ive been asked why I've changed pickups so many times and I want to assure you all, its not because I'm trying to improve the tone the guitar generated with the stock pickup...Its merely a learning thing for me...i want to try EVERYTHING!!!..All the Telonics PUs have been just marvelous, and very full and rich sounding...Great stuff !!!..The only pickup I really didn't care for in this guitar was the E66...It was just a little to sharp sounding on the high end for my taste...Thanks for posting guys...More coming...!!

The pick-up looks like the 206. Let us know what you think of the tone with this particular pick-up is like. I'm curious to see how this pick-up would compare to a BL-705. I like my 705's but I'm always open to something that might be better.

My bad. I just looked it up and it's a 183 for a twelve string. The 206 is for a ten string but they both look the same with the two blades.

Well guys, I got my guitar home last night and took it out of the case...The pics do NOT do this guitar justice..Shaun and Mike did a superb job on the new mica.
I was surprised to find out that the guitars tone is different with this mica, and lacquer..The separation in the low register is a little cleaner and the highs sharper, and very well focused. I have been asked by numerous customers about the difference in the tone of Mica vs Lacquer...That's a tough one to call..But in this case, there's definitely a difference, and its all good!...

Well, technically this material ain't really "mica". It's much more flexible.

Will you be providing the AUDIENCE with sunglasses to wear? That guitar is so shiny they may go blind!

Very nice!
