John, great job! I particularily liked the style of the rhythm track which is a little more upbeat that what one usually hears.
I know what you mean about doing one take recordings. You have to be on your mark to pull it off.
I occasionally make some videos and they are one take usually. However, I have done plenty over again.
I made a one take video Friday that you might like to see and hear. If you are interested I will tell you what I used....which is "Bare Bones".

Thanks Carl, if you listen to Hank Williams version it is even a little faster then mine. but Hank Jnr did it about the same speed as mine. I don't play many instrumentals. it's only in the past few years I started to do some. I spent most of my playing years doing back up steel and never needed to learn any. but I am getting to grips with it now , again thanks for your comments,,,

Thanks Wayne, yes I do use pedals, but as I call them a one take tune , I would have played then with care so as not to hit any unwanted strings and spoiling the recording. As you will see from this video I do play the steel in the normal fashion as well...Thanks again
