hi yal iam planning a benefit for harley morris who had a stroke in jan 2012 to help with medical expences and our good friend johnny davis guitar/ steel guitar player who passed away on jan. 13th in arizona of heart failure this benefir is planned for march 17th sat. at the VFW in riverside ca. 10303 arlington ave. ph. #is 951-688-7170 this will be pot luck so make your favorite dish and bring let me know if you can make it if u r a musican i can put your name on the list let me know what u play or sing we will start around 12:00 noon till ???? so put your picks on and come out and help us my ph. is 909-238-6303 call anytime thanx again if u r comming from out of town i will try to help with rooms anymore info call me

Would love to be there, but we are having a "Bud's Bash" birthday party in Yuma on the same day! I worked a lot of jobs with Johnny...I miss him so much.

I'll try to make it, Ron, gotta wiggle some steel students around to do so. Nice of you to organize the event, these are always bittersweet reunions of local players, the music is fun, the occasion for it not so much.

Hey Ron, looks like I'll be able to make this one. We're leaving Virginia for California on the 7th of March and coming back on the 21st so I'll be there. It'll be great seeing you guys again and helping out ol' Harley a little & Johnny's family....JH in Va.
