What's your age?
Just taking a poll to find the average age of the board's members. I myself am 32, and it seems am in the minority in terms of age group here. Is there a trend that fewer young folk are picking up the steel?

And I will be 66 next August. Hey, Alan! When we both get to 100 then I'll meet you by the dock of the bay, just bring your guitar and I'll bring mine and we'll give those toddling tourists something to think about

It is easy to play the steel guitar. Playing so that the audience finds it pleasing is the difficult act.

Age ain't nothing but a number. There are some folks here in your range, but there are also some who are older who still have a youthful outlook on music and life. Count me as one, though I'm in my late 40s.

I'm 47, after 30 'guitar years' spent last 3 years 'on pedals'. Touring and recording already, having fun of learning smith new all the time. Thank y'all !
