C6 Voicing On E9-Jody Cameron-Take These Chains

Post by Dick Sexton »

Thank you, Jody for letting me share this...

My friends, this is my humble attempt at tabbing Jody's DVD of "Take These Chains". The information contained here is not near complete without having the DVD and his instruction to tie it all together. Jody gives many options for different chord voicings in many places. To tab all options would have cluttered the tab to much in my opinion. So, use this as a rough guide to get you in the ballpark. I am following Jody and his instruction closely, he has much to share in expanding the use of the E9th neck. I hope this is of some use to you... Dick Sexton

Thanks so much for your input and help on this tab, Dick. You are a blessing to the forum!

Guys, please feel free to use this tab even if you didn't purchase the DVD with my blessings. JC :)

I need to learn this! How many other new players like me are avoiding string 9?
Found this clip of Jody on YouTube. He sure makes that Rittenberry sound sweet.
Thanks for the TAB, and especially thanks to Jody Cameron. :D

Bud, just email him. He is one of the nicest people you will ever have any dealings with. And generally, that is what I find dealing with Texans. I was born in Brownsville, myself!

This is a wonderful dvd with enough meat to last for years! I finally launched into the learning, and WOW, this blows my hair back (graying as it is)! Jody is a master player and knows his music theory inside and out. If I can hear it, I'll learn it, but Jody's knowledge is incredible. I'll be on this dvd for some time. There's just too much good information here. And a big thank you for the tabs too. These will come in handy for my shortening memory.
