I failed to mention that it was Sept. 17th 2003 that Kyle Bennett called and offered me a job. I called Joan and asked her what she thought. Her answer was, when are you leaving. That was Thursday, I left Monday and went to work on Tuesday. I didn't know that the new MSA had started on the 17th two years earlier. Thanks Kyle, Reece and Sonny. You forever changed our lives for the better.

Don't know how I missed this post, but congratulations guys on making the best steel guitars in the world. I just had to post some pictures again, although the Superslide has a new owner. I just didn't have time to work on learning it and keeping halfway current on my other instruments. Also the white S12 in the back row has a new home, but I have another S12, one of Reece's personal guitars, and an S10 in various stages of restoration.

And nobody puts them together like Johnny. Both of mine that he put together still play like a dream. All I had to do when I got them was tune the strings a little, and adjust the knee lever angle, everything else was perfect.

MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro.

Congratulations to everyone at MSA.

I bought my first MSA in 1973, and have been playing them ever since. They have been nothing but wonderful for me. I still own two U-12s, and wouldn't part with them.

I'm proud to be a part of the MSA family, and glad to call everyone there my friend.

Congratulations on a successful 10 years and best wishes for another! Could it be a coincidence starting on Constitution Day (Sept. 17)? The country hasn't done too bad so far, either. Best of luck to both.

Congratulations. I still recall "the one that got away." A lacquered U12 at Wheaton Music in 82. I bought their Emmons D-10 and rented the MSA two weeks later when the Emmons hit the shop for a copedent change. I loved that push-pull but always thought I bought the wrong guitar.
I'm pleased with the 2C278 I just bought. Plays sweet and sounds good

David, Even with your copedant, the MSA will undoubtedly feel different than your Rains. Please tell us your impression of it after you've played it. (And don't forget to take a few minutes to adjust the pedal heights and knee lever angels to your liking before you start playing.)
