My band Go Van Gogh on West Coast Live
My band Go Van Gogh was asked to do a last minute performance at last Saturday's KALW broadcast of West Coast Live. Below are the three songs we did.
I'm playing a 2001 National Style 1.5 tricone with a Lace UltraSlim pickup through a Fishman Loudbox Mini, using open G tuning.
Cuckoo Clock
Swimming In The East River

Pronunciation of Van Gogh
I didn't know how to write it phœnetically so that an English speaker could pronounce it accurately. The gh is like the ch in Scottish loch, and, in Dutch/Flemish, Gs at the start of words have mutated into a kind of hard H, so Goeden Morgan has come to be pronounced Hooi Morghun.
...but it ain't Van Go.
