Tune: We Never Killed Each Other (But Didn't We Try?)
Artist: Dallas Wayne
CD: Big Thinkin'
Year: 2000

Here's a few interesting Tom Brumley tunes that you might not be familiar with. The first one is with Dallas Wayne, whom I had the pleasure of playing with when he lived out here for a couple of years. You can hear him DJing on Sirius FM these days. This is the the later Brumley sound, and he was probably playing his Anapeg guitar. The tone is mellower and his playing more evolved than when he was with Buck.

Tune: Just Like A Woman
Artist: Rick Nelson
Album: Rudy The 5th Decca DL 75297
Year: 1971

On "Just Like A Woman" The intro says it all, and then they bury him in the mix. But I love it, and it's a great tune for steel.
