Simple tasks elude me

When I make a backing track, I will select the style that best suits the track, but sometimes I will want the drums, but with a different sound on the bass guitar, eg if the bass is set for 'fretless', I will change it to 'picked'.

The problem is that I can't seem to save this simple alteration, as soon as I press start it goes back to 'fretless'

If I could get it to stay as I have set it, I could then render it to a WAV file (I think?)

Richard, left click on Piano, left click on the GM2 box, Follow the arrow and select the Piano you want, then send to a Wave. I hope this helps.

Hi Richard, go to file/save song with patches and harmony, or hit your F2 and Alt key to bring up the save window then just enter the number of the instrument patch in the box and save it.
