weather report

Post by Joe Naylor »

80 yesterday 76 today - cold front coming and 69 for Thursday only then 72 or 3

No sun tires required and we do not have to shovel sunshine

My son in northern KS gave me a report at 11 AM - 17 and 45 mph

hope every one is smiling - we had a whole week of the 60's and did have a frost close to the valley but it did not effect our winter garden - lots of tomatoes on the vines.

I spoke with Bud Issacs today and he and Geri are looking forward to being at the next show.He missed the last couple of shows due to bad health. Harvey Wanier from Texas will be joining us this year. Yes, we even allow short fiddle players from San Angelo, Tx. to come to our show.

This sounds like it should be a lot of fun. Not wanting to miss out, I've booked a flight and hotel room. Is it enough to just show up on January 20, or is some sort of pre-registration required or preferred?

This is always one of my favorite shows, and this year, I've had the pleasure of being invited to sing with some great players that I've not had the honor of working with in the past.
Really looking forward to this show.
Hope everyone shows up and we end up having to go to a larger venue next year.

I am very honored to be performing on the SWSGA show this year!!! I am really looking forward to attending and seeing all my friends, old and new!!! I am planning on playing my 1973 Emmons once owned and loved by the legendary Hal Rugg!!! Also by a fine player and great friend Pat Coyne!!! I will be playing it through my 1969 Fender Dual Showman Reverb with custom Walnut cabinet and Evans 15!!!

Come out and see all these wonderful players!!! Make your reservations today!!!

I will be bringing a few of our talented performers from the Arizona Opry, where I have been performing for over a year now and I just might have a few other surprises in store!!! Don't miss it!!!

yes.. is there any sort of rough schedule at all?

I dont see any info on anything other than room prices and list of players....

What is the entrance fee etc..? I can't even find that.. am I just missing it?

Looking forward to coming down even though there is a lot of gray area still...
