I recently decided to rejig my rack systems and needed to get a 5 space rack case - so since I already had a nice 4 space job from Fred Justice I called him and got him to ship a new one out to me in NZ.... This is an unadulterated plug for Fred's workmanship and practicality - these rack cases are perfectly designed 3-door cases - ideal for our needs, and the build quality is outstanding - Fred is a joy to do business with - nothing is a problem.
my first rack in 1995 was based around a Peavey DPC750 and Profex - I still have the DPC and it never misses a beat (unlike me).
I have them both wired with 2 x AC outlets and 2 x speaker outlets, Left wet, right dry. If I am in the studio or using my nashville 1000, I switch off the power amp and run direct out of the AC wet to my NV1000, or both to the desk. Very flexible system. I also use 2 x Peavey Nashville E115 cabinets with 1501-4's.
Here are some pics of the 2 racks in their current configuration - I have a spare slot for a Telonics Stereo power amp (soon !!). Both racks also have a power supply for my Telonics volume pedals mounted in the power strip - nice and handy.
Hi Matt yes it only took about 5 or 6 days to get here via USPS - not a cheap delivery option but it arrived without a mark on it, and a lot quicker than I was expecting - Fred did a brilliant job.

So you Lexicon guys, what is the best unit to run with the Rev ?? I know there is a couple that aren't that compatible with the routing etc !!
Michael - I just sit my 2 Peavey 15" cabs on top of my steel case behind me!

Here is what mine looked like a few years back. I was using it for guitar/steel at the time. I now have it setup completely different so will have to find a current pic of it.
I go for a simpler approach. I couldn't find what I wanted, so I made my own to match my pack-a-seat. I use a Digitech 2112 for a preamp and effects. I also have a Shure wireless transmitter for my in ear monitors, and an Audio Technica wireless guitar system for when I play guitar or mandolin. I made a detachable mount for my Aviom monitor mixer on the end of the rack. It has two inputs on the end under the Aviom, and the power jack, XLR out, high impedance out, and wireless transmitter input on the other end. I use a Countryman phantom powered direct box which is mounted in the bottom of the rack. I put a vented plate in the bottom to let air in for the tube preamp.

Paddy, very nice. I wanted a diesel and I got talked out of it, not to mention that I couldn't afford one. So I settled for a V-10. I can slide a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back and have carried 1500lbs of welding equipment and tools (day-job), or 1200lbs of musical equipment, short tour in the Bay area. The newest car I've owned, before the Excursion, was a 1975 Lincoln Mark V and before that, a '73 Coupe de Ville. I love looking out over a half acre of sheet metal.... cheers
