BIAB no sound

Just had my PC cleaned up and added more memory. Now BIAB (v12) pops a box up saying Roland VSC is currently being used by another program but no other program is running. Anyone know how to explain and fix this? thanks

Steven,,I had a similar problem last week after returning to BIAB factory settings.

I cured the problem by running the ouput driver wizzard in BIAB,,, I needed to pick the proper out-put MIDI driver again from the list it showed me.

opt---output midi driver------run output driver wizzard

i tried working with options in BIAB and wizard but no success. Still get the " Roland VSC is properly connected but is currently being used by another program". I have a high end sound card-DIGI 96/8 pad- installed in my PC. stupid question: should i be defaulting to VSC at all? Should the sound card be the designated driver?

I would try that Steven,,

Sometimes its trial & error with picking a midi out-put driver

Or if you are running windows 98 or newer, you can restore settings to a date before the trouble started?
