No Peddle Survey: Which styles do you play?

I'm still scratching my head on the renewed interest in non-pedal guitars. Prices are
rising, desired models are snatched up within 10 minutes of entering the market. Who/what are people doing with these things?

Which styles do you play?
Which tunings?

80% Hawaiian
15% Western Swing
5% Blues

Mostly C6 (flirt with B11 and C#m).
D or E for Blues.

99% Hawaiian music on Lap steel,
99% Bluegrass on my Dobro...
Hawaiian Music C6
Bluegrass High Bass G
sometimes Low Bass G on Hollowneck
If I have a double neck I'll put E13 outside..But right now I'm playing a 6 string, single neck Rick,

National square-neck: Low G: Trad Hawaiian: 40%, Blues: 30%
Non-pedal Steel 8: C6: Western Swing: 30%

100% Jerry Byrd on anything and everything he played.

Some things he did I cannot do. Try, just cannot find out how he did it.

Old country and western, mostly. In 1999 I did the following gigs without pedals:

Hank Williams Tribute - two shows
The Country All-Stars - once (short set)
The People's Love Choir - once
Sal Sage (cowboy singer) - once
Sitting in with a blues band - once
Sitting in with country-rock bands - twice

I also kept the lap steel handy on a few pedal steel gigs, for Hank songs and the like. I don't get much call for Hawaiian music.

Vintage country and western (mostly 30's to 50's) on a triple Console Grande. Use E6(same as Helms and Wiggens except the 7th string is C#), B11, and E13 (E C# B G# F# D G# E).

Western Swing: C6th, E13th
Hawaiian: C6th, B11th
Folk: C6th, Emajor

I try to play the style the original players used on their recordings, which include Byrd, Helms, Bobby Foster, Johnny Seibert for the country stuff. For the Hawaiian stuff, Jerry Byrd, Billy Hew Lin and Barney Isaacs. And of course Remington, Joaquin Murphy and a host of all the Western Swing greats. Mostly, I try to be original with the above influences unless the occaision calls for "same as the record" stuff.
