CDG Karaoke file to BIAB conversion

Is there a way to use the lyric files from karaoke files(CDG) in BIAB? I guess I want the best of both worlds. I have 100's of karaoke files and would like to use the lyrics feature of BIAB. I'm thinking I would need to convert a CDG file into a .kar file. As I understand it, the lyrics is part of the midi file associated with the .kar files. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
