Conqourer Steel

Anyone heard of Conqourer lap steels? I saw one in a store they wanted $300 canadian .It has tripod legs , two pickups , six string.. the repairman in the store told me the pickups were microphonic and would need to be replaced..any thoughts or comments???

I'll take a shot here and somebody correct me if I'm mistaken.It could be a Guyatone Conqueror which is a Japanese made guitar.If thats the case,$300.00 Canadian,Venezuelan,
or Armenian is too much to pay for that.
