Bill I'm not talking about the use of trashy language, you are so right. It is in poor taste,to use words that some write. I'm refering to spelling, or someone with a small vocabulary.I'm in the middle,I don't use them big words,or them trashy words.

Archie ,I think what he is trying to say is "if you dont agree with my over your head politically opinionated views about the steel guitar and myy high society standings involved with playing you should be suspended from the forum,," just a guess as I am an uneducated HILLBILLY.....Nic,I do listen to forumites clips but rarely respond because as a beginner I have no qualifications to critic anyone..It sounded good to me..

David B.,

I have no desire to see that anyone has been suspended. You said it.. I didn't use that terminology. Clean up your act! Show some respect for others on the forum. I'm here to talk steel guitar, and try to receive responses from other members that pertain to current activities.

Bill I am not disrespecting anyone, so beware of whom it is that you point fingers..It is you sir who disrespects my fellow forumites by your arrogance..Maybe you should consider speaking to those of us who share interest in this instrument in a manner in which makes sense instead of the needless rambling that seems to put you on your golden pedestal..like I said before I am a beginner (around 3 weeks learning this) so therefore I can not critique anyones ability, however you on the other hand get on here and go on about how much better you are than the rest but you have no proof..Not once have I ever saw a single cd or you tube or even a tab sheet anywhere that said Bill Hankey..I am always glad to share thoughts about the subject and I am always happy to hear from people who are willing to help someone in the right direction but you sir are have given me nothing but confusion and head aches. So if any one needs to clean an act it would be you.

Gary Lee Gimble,

It is written that we are fortunate to have two friends in life, who will always be there if bad times comes my way. I trust in the written words.

 just a thought but I propose that if you continue on your path of self-righteous intolerance, that you sir will be counting your freinds in negative numbers you need not be a stuffed shirt prude to embrace and receive blessing from the big guy :P

By referring to 'Mother Nature'..... do you mean natural talent? I know that talented musicians do catch up quite quickly when they set their minds to 'practicing' certain licks, or phrases played by other advanced players.
Or did I miss your point?

Ach, Charlie, as I am sure you know, that concept has been put forward before and this time will be no different. It's a good suggestion but will be ignored as usual.

These posts are like a lethal boomerang.

Hankey. When you write on a public forum, you should choose to write in a manner that the average person can understand.

You aren't writing in here to people that are members of MENSA, or whatever your mind wants it to be.

Don't you think that it's wise to do so?
