Yes Larry I know you are right, this deal has been in the making for a few months and I've spent the last two weeks at the store just to get the hang of things. Its going to take a while to get everything lined out the way we want it,a little remodeling a little restructuring this and that for a while, then maybe play with all the toys down the road.

Fred,
I owned a music store for more than fifteen years and had a lot fun doing it. It's more of a challenge now than then, but it's still a good business. Just as a tip, make sure you have good teachers on as many instruments as possible. I always tried to never let an unhappy customer walk out the door. To this day some of them have never been found.

Fred,
Really tickled to hear about your new store.
Globe, AZ is just a hop/skip/jump from Ala., might see you some day!?
This is also a good opportunity to tell you how much I enjoyed hearing you play in the "Rains" booth at Dallas for 3+ days, morning 'til night. I learned a lot, and I'm still holding out for a red SD-10 Rains like yours. Good Luck with the store!

Thank all of you soo much for your kind words and well wishes. Yes,it is kinda like a dream to me as well, lucky for me I have the best little wife in the whole world to help me and the little ole man I bought the store from will be staying on some to do acoustic repairs and such. Between him and my wonderful wife I will still be able to make all the shows i've been going to for the past few years.Life is good,God is good!!!

Fred-Best Wishes on the opening of your Music store.
I had one in the 50's and I not only made a lot of new friends but made good money too.
Get teachers to teach all the instruments, if you can. GEt those kids in there for Lessons. You can teach too while your wife minds the store, that is what Lorraine and I did for many years. Good luck...al
