Alright CUZ, I've been leaving you alone lately, for reasons we all know, but now is the time for this ole Georgia cracker, to start pestering you again. I HEREBY start trying to CRACK your shell again, Be FOREWARNED !
You've been talkin about all those old standards that we all know and love, so why don't you put your fingers and bar where your mouth has been
Why not treat us to your interpretation of those old standards in your own personable style and record us a couple of C D's with your steel (even if you record them in your own home)and please All your forumite brothers ? I think that would be a real labor of love for all of our forumites to have. Can you imagine it folks? New material from one of our heros, and we know he can still do if from hearing him last Sept. in St. Louis. HOW BOUT IT CUZ ????

I'll buy that. "Poinciana" A beautiful song that I like. It would make a good steel solo. I have an LP with David Rose orchestra and I have tried to play along with it.
I would like to hear Jody play it with his own style........al

WHAT??? where does it say I recorded Poinciana show me....I do play it but have never recorded it..your thinking of Der Bingle Bing Crosby not me. Show me...edited I guess I did record it after all. Vaughn Monroe 1951 RCA..it paid scale.
$2.00 per note,I played 4 notes you figure it out I dont have my calculator.
Vaughn Monroe hogged the tune while I sat like a dummy but got paid...the total was $4.75 I forgot the overtime . Your Voice speaks to me of Love. All I did was a glissando where he sings "Trade Winds" and Magic fills the air,,,it was magic they paid me
