The Who without keith Moon is like Led Zep without Bonzo, no thanks.
I saw Roger Daltry on a Time Life info-mercial...times are tough all over.

Well, it's tough to maintain a rock star lifestyle without a rock star income. Have you priced the cost of just skimming the algae from your castle's moat lately? :whoa: Led Zeppelin held out the longest against the "reunion" pressure, but after they starting selling Cadillac SUV's, it was only a matter of time.

The bands who made out best are the ones like the Stones, Who, and Zeppelin who managed to place a number of songs in the classic rock pantheon, so they've been played in heavy rotation for decades on the nationalized classic rock format stations. Have you ever noticed that the band members who quit or die off aren't the songwriters who still score royalties? Stupid drummers....

Still, it'd be hard to fly coach after owning your own Boeing. And Golden Earring is still out there, touring "Radar Love."

Bashing a surviving HoF band that still has the goods, eh? That's the bah humbug spirit...
Missing Keith, The Ox, and Bonzo does suck, but the music of a truly great band trancends the individuals, and The Who and Zep have had their post tragedy moments.

Rock on, gentlemen!

Nothing, that's why it's posted here in the MUSIC section, where it belongs: "Musical topics not directly related to steel guitar"
