Backing band
Are the ones who backed up the steel players going to be the same as last year?

hi David
Could not get anyone to come with me, Working on Jack Dougherty to come in November, you will like his playing it is super and a nice guy he tought Micky adams to fly a certain plane in the simulator, he worked for american Airlines, retired now teaches simulator pilots.
I am working on the task you asked me to do will get all the info I can. Sure wanted to make this one but could not set it up. The florida club is on the same day every month, in Nov move it up or back if you can and we will bring some fl. players up, mabe Larry Danley, Lou (There is still a lot of love in Sanan Tone Roschell?). Jack Conyer and I are planing to come in Nov. for sure.

The Saluda Show
Had a grood jam session Saturday with 7 steels on the stage. Sunday was fantastic - had a great crowd and the music was really great!! Hope some one has some pictures to post of this great event. Ron and I want to 'thank' everyone that had a part in putting this show together and for having us there with you wonderful folks. The back up musicians were of the finest and complimented each steel player and I thank them for playing with Ron. Look forward to seeing all of you good folks next year.
Musically yours,
Leslie

I would like to thank everyone that came and supported this wonderful event. And would also like to thank Jerry Reece for carrying on the tradition at Saulda. It was certainly nice to see Brother Ron and his lovely wife, you folks are a class act! I thought everyone's playing was superb. It was good attendence and good fellowship as well, and I am already looking forward to the next time. Again I would like to thank everyone and hope everyone had a safe trip home. David

I would like to thank Danny Hammers for the great pictures and line up of players. Our staff always does a superb job in making this another success. I know Buddy and Charles(dad) are proud. Thanks to all the players and singers. Thanks to a new face on the Saturday night Jam, Duke Dumas. And a new young face at the jam his name is Tron. That's the great part about these convention you never know who might show up. Thanks to Rob Parker for filling in for Terry Rogers. It's difficult to put into words how much I appreciate everyone that supports this show. Thanks to Bill Cunningham for being with us this time. Come back soon. Ron great job as always look forward to seeing you next time. If I've print misinformation please let me know. Sincerely, Jerry Reece

There is one more person to be thanked for all his hard work. When I got there Sat about 3:15pm, from Florida, he had a bucket of water and was washing the front of the stage and roughing all of the mic cables. and was still going strong when I went to get a bite in town. And when I got back he was still going
Thanks Jerry

The Fellowship at this show is next to none.
I had a great time
