I stayed up to watch Buck. Nice shot of you and your JCH opening up the song. Enjoyed your playing like always.

"Large" Band, fer sure. Looks like Lyle has added a few more to the group? Interesting song. Style and delivery like we've come to expect from LL, though. Must be a lot of fun playing that music with that entourage. 8)

Hey Buck, got any info to share on how that song came to life in Lyle's creative brain? Unless my ears were fooling me, the title must have been "Gonna Choke my Chicken" or something to that effect. The audience must have been cracking up on that one.

I enjoyed both seeing and hearing Buck, however; I'm still in shock over the song~content! Especially on a Major Network like NBC¡¡¡

Thanks guys and gals for your comments and tuning in. For inquiring minds, the title of the song is "Farmer Brown" and to be honest... I'm not sure what it means either. Nor do I have any idea where the inspiration came from to write it. It's a silly song and I wish we could have done something a little more musical however, I recall working with another artist a few years ago who recorded a silly song titled " Swingin' " and that did pretty well. :)

Buck, Lyle may write a "silly" song now and then, but when it comes to picking musicians, he hires the best! Hope to see your show again in Columbia, MO one of these days.
