I have been playing my Rittenberry SD-10 since I took it home from the Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree in Dallas back in March. I have to say, this is one of the premier steels out on the market today. This is a true "workin man's" steel guitar. For the price and quality, this is what it's all about! This guitar is totally dependable on the bandstand. The tone and playabilty of these guitars is exciting, everytime I sit behind it! This guitar stays in tune like you cannot even imagine! Even on an outside gig! I was just in the mood, and felt like posting Please, all Rittenberry Comments, and pictures encouraged!

I love the looks of these Ritts!
Can someone post a few closeup pics of the underside of their SD10? I don't believe I've sever seen the bottom of the current crop of Ritts.
Cheers!

I concur with everything said by Brandon. I don't have my photo's readily available, but be assured my black SD-10 Rittenberry is a proud member of the stable. It sounded wonderful yesterday when I played a 3-hour gig in a beautiful log lodge with fantastic acoustics!
Yes, Steve, I have a D-10, 8 & 6. Gary just built a D-10 8 & 8 for a customer here in TX. I'm sorry I can't post pics right now due to computer issues.
I've enjoyed owning and playing my Rittenberry guitar very much. jc
Yours is breath taking. A toss up but for sure the combination is gorgeous. Mine is burled Pecan. Camera flash lightened your picture up. What wood specise is yours. Evidence that a guy needs two Ritts, one each way.
I'm upset about my Ritt. It don't have the little blue thingies on the pedals. Boy do I feel cheated. I think I'll send it back....
On second thought I guess I'll keep it. I can always spray paint the pedals.

Now pass the gravy.
Jim - Thanks for the compliment (I think its pretty spesh too)
Mine is the pecan burl too. (same as whats on Jody Cameron's D10) I asked for black on front rosewood on top, but Gary only had the pecan burl which is roughly the same colour as rosewood - same as yours I think.
The flash-lightening on the picture makes me think the next one will be black on front blond on top.
I have to say, if Gary ever builds another steel for me, it has to be the color of Steve Hotra's teal emerald green. I still miss that color! Probably the most energizing and positive color to sit down to I ever experienced. My loss is your gain, Steve!
