Best Kept Secret
Hey David....David Wright wrote:Great Stuff!!!!! Danny is one of the best kept secert in Steel Guitar!!!...
Danny, I know how he got your name in the Bar...
That is so true. He is so creative and has so much to share with us all. The steel guitar community should figure out a way to take advantage of his talent and love of the instrument, and pass it on to the up-and-comers.
Not many boundaries for him!!

Absolutely brilliant! A master of picking dynamics and chord choices.
And what an unusual foot pedal arrangement ... looks and sounds like a version of Curly Chalker's setup, but with a different setup on the 2nd pedal from the left (a G->F lower, I believe).

Wow. Everything he plays is so musical and interesting... just good, all the time. What's his setup? Looks like (front neck) pushing the A&B down go from a 4 to a 1 chord.. the opposite of standard setup.. and looks like a bunch, if not all pedals work the front neck. Wasn't one of Speedy West's tunings "backwards" like that?
I'm a fan for sure.
