I thought he did great on the Grammy's!
I'm glad Mack McAnally preformed with him! :)

I saw it. I found it hard to understand the vocals. And the song was a bit underwhelming. But his performance overall was fine.

I know one thing: if I had his money, I would be toting a big ol' sunburst Gibson J200 acoustic - not a Takamine cutaway - on stage at the Grammys. :)

Kenny, in my opinion is getting better with age.
He did an outstanding job!

I don't dislike KC, but the performance was not exciting at all. His vocals at the start were weak and then I turned it off.

Barry,

Kenny finally does a song like "Down The Road" with the great Mack McAnally singing with him, and it's boring or bad. Tough crowd!

I believe Mack won CMA musician of the year in 2008.

Theresa, you are always writing with the apparent point of view that awards or record sales alone should influence the listener into changing their less-than-desirable opinion of an artist. I'm sorry if we (consumers) just can't love everybody. :\

Theresa, I didn't see it, but if you liked it then it must have been good. I'll always take your word for it.

Chesney is, at best, an indifferent singer. There's no quality in his voice and he seems incapable of holding a note with any accuracy. I can only assume that he has something else going for him - of which I'm unaware - that assures him this seemingly endless TV exposure.

It disappoints me that poor vocalists like him and Toby Keith dominate the air-waves while others who are, within the admittedly narrow boundaries of country music, far superior,. Why are Joe Diffie and Joe Nichols ignored?

I just wish that the 'flavour of the month' would, at least occasionally, coincide with a good voice.

Thanks Mr. Curtis,

I saw Kenny on the Grammy's and he did sing better than previous shows I've seen him on.
That was my point of posting.

Feb. 10th I ask for this post to be closed! Thank You..

Is he good-looking? I can't tell. I've always thought there was a passing resemblance to Lee Harvey Oswald.

How things have changed! Back in 1955 callers jammed the radio-station's switchboard asking to '...hear that record again!' It had to be all about the unique voice of Elvis Presley, long before they realised how much physical appeal he had. Wouldn't it be good if that was how it worked now?

I don't think I've ever heard Theresa say anything negative about anybody. Whether you like Kenny Chesny or not I'll pat Theresa on the back for always being positive about country music. Keep it up Kid. A Pickin' Bro. Doyle
