When I first read this post this morning, when there was only one response, I could only think "what in the heck is this?" Danger Will Robinson, Danger!

If it is an inside joke or practical joke, it takes much of us "out of the loop" people by surprise. Any harmlessness is not obvious.

Danny Cochran

Post by BOBBY JACKS »

I'm Confused About This Being A Joke, As I Assume It Is But If Warren And Danny Cochran Are The Same Person And That's An If, He Wrote All The Songs On Joe And Connie's Gospel Album Of Which I Have 3 Of,Great Songs And Great Album That Connie And Joe Do A Great Job On, So I Don't Know Why He Would Be Cuttin Joe Up
When I Went To The MySpace Page That Was Listed For Warren, Danny's Name Is There With All The Songs He Wrote On The Gospel Album. ????????????????

say who?

Interesting!

My guess is that Joe slipped in on Warren's computer, made some of his great humor that he is so well known for. Nobody recognized it. Bob got scared that it was gonna start a frenzy. Shut him down for a rule that gets violated more often than noticed. Now Joe and Warren are laughing in the floor.

Unfortunately this post wasn't just moved to humor and let the party began.

Of course, then again, I could wrong too.

I actually taught Joe how to drive when he was just a young boy. Not many people know that. And it wasn't easy teaching him to drive a stick, you know.

Just thought I'd mention that.

Thank-you. :P

That reminds me of the time that me and Buddy Emmons were at the Alamo, and I said "Buddy, what do you think we should do now"? Buddy replied "Kevin, just play some steel guitar at 'em. That'll scatter 'em back to Mexico".

Them finger picks make my fingertips hurt just lookin' at 'em, 'cause they look like the celluloid ones I used long ago. Bought 'em at a music store in Hamburg, NY circa 1963. I could wear them when I was 10, but 45 years later? No way!

Stay outa the snow Joe M. :D

i would imagine joe is responsible for this as part of a shameless self-promotion.

it can't be roger miller or marty robbins for obvious reasons!

I stood right next to Joe at a NAMM show as he demonstrated Sierra Steel Guitars.

He was a super mellow guy and just as modest and nice as you could be. I noticed Skunk Baxter was taking notice as well.... I will say that even when he's just goofing off behind the steel... the guy sounded amazing.

Regarding this thread: Elvis once said "It's awful hard to live up to an image".
