I think it's great, all brand new ORIGINAL music. If you love honkytonk steel guitar, Ricky Davis is in his comfort zone on this album and just nails it!! And Miss Leslie's fiddle and honkytonk voice are better than ever!! Dave Biller's tasteful guitar work---what can ya say?? And Ric Ramirez and Tim Cambell season the whole album with perfect honkytonk bass and drums. Ricky and Leslie are sure doing their part to keep country alive!! Way to go!!

James....I HAVE heard it..all the way from Stillwater to beautiful downtown Watts. The lady wrings more emotion out of every note than one can imagine. Ric Ramirez knocks me out..what a great player with a fast right hand. Thank you James , for your friendship and your generous giving spirit.

No doubt about it, this is a fantastic record of real country music played by pros. Miss Leslie is a fine singer and fiddle player. It's a treat to see them live too.

Another thing cool about the steel on this album, is it is played on THE '73 Shobud LDG with original pickup, played through a fender twin with 15" K 130 JBL's. Then blend it with Leslie's honkytonk fiddle, and it's tremendous!!

So if you love that vintage steel guitar tone, and awesome fiddle, this album puts you "there"!

I've got it playing in my office all the time. To be specific for a moment, Ricky's steel lick at 1:36 of "Hold Back the Tears" is totally off the wall. I could go on, but all the steel on this CD is killer, not mention Miss Leslie's songwriting, fiddle and vocals...as well as Ricky and Tommy's production. I strongly recommend it.

If you want to hear quintessential Sho~Bud tone, this is IT.
