GO O's. I grew up in Baltimore, and if I wasn't playing this weekend, I would be there rooting the best team in baseball along. Well, ok. They aren't the best team, but, they are to me, LOL, hope you have a great time, Smiley. Pat

Smiley,

Look both ways if your driving your car. I'm looking forward to hearing that you've returned safely to Nashville.

Being an O's fan, it's been a rough few years for me. If you're a Braves fan, you should enjoy the game. Have a safe trip and please don't laugh too much at my favorite team.

I'm playing with Open Hearts at the Ledson Winery in Kenwood, California. Noon to 4 PM, free to the public.

This is a very pleasant, park-like outdoor venue. We keep the volume pretty low, as neighbors on the other side of highway 12 like to complain.

Yep. I'm playing this week end -- and, in fact 7 days each week -- now that I have retired. Gig is located in the South-West corner of my bedroom. I usually have a good crowd of fans: my wife, my pomeranian, and my beta. Feel free to attend any session, but bring a folding chair (we can only seat a few on the bed.)

Edited to change "Smelley" to "Smiley" -- sorry about that!

Imageey, Just think if you drove 6 hours more South on 75 to the lovely city of Weeki Wachee Fl. I'd treat you to the Devil Rays Baseball.Indoor air conditioned Baseball at it's Best and I can guaranty you we wont be sitting behind a pole in section 6 like we did the last time the Red Sox (flops)clinched the pennant. And we can fill up with 24 oz beers (7.50).Two of those and one does not care who is playing. And I would drive.y.b.y.a.It was funny that day at Fenway seeing a Pole behind a Pole. Image

Hey Smiley, on Friday starting at 10:00AM I've got a session. At 7:30PM I'll be playing at "Sandy" in Franklin, TN, which is located at 4th & Main St. Saturday, I start another session at 9:00, which goes all day and at 8:00PM I play with the Radio Daze Big Band ( www.radiodazebigband.com ) at the Yacht Club in Hendersonville, TN. On Sunday, I'm at "Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch" at 3:00PM.

Are you going to be at the "Elders Ball" again?

C'mon up to Brooklyn to Hank's Saloon Sunday nite. As they say, if you're in Brooklyn and you don't come by Hank's, then...uh...well...then you are...uh, probably, like, doing something else.......

they're still working on the slogan.

Dyke,

Is that the Opry show in Bellflower? How is Rick Roy's health? How about Bill Gilles is he still the "regular" steel player.

I am moving back to Germantown Hills (Metamora) this next week. I will be looking for a steel job if you know of any..or any casuals you might pass on. BTW I bought that Carter 8 / 9 from Brian Stear. It has 705's ...I like it.

Hope the family is doing great.

See ya

Yep Tim, That's the one. Rick is doing much better, I'm filling in for Bill Gillis who is on vacation. You should have no probelm finding a gig. My store is doing sound for one of your old bands tomorrow night at a festival and there is no steel on the stage plot! Guess who? Image
