After blood, sweat, and sometimes tears, I am annoucing the release of my CD, "Back Again". The cuts are songs I have written with the exception of the Buck Owens medley.
There are some different presentations of the instrument throughout the CD and I hope everyone will hear something they like
Thanks to everyone for their support and encouragement to do this. Also, for the three most treasured people in my life that most of you have never met, my wife Kathie, and daughters Kim and Leah who stood by me by keeping the faith!
My best to you all,
Jerry Brightman

Jerry, somehow it seems fitting that I could be first to congratulate you on your accomplishments thus far and I can't wait to hear the CD.
Your friend in Arkansas,
Jerry
Wow! That's super, Jerry. Folks, I've heard some early mixes of some of the pieces from this CD and I gotta tell you, it will turn you on your ear. Very, very sophisticated thinking and playing here. If you've heard Jerry at shows lately, it doesn't begin to penetrate the depths of this man's capabilities. I can't wait to get a copy.
Jimbeaux
Hi Jerry, CONGRATS to "THE MAN" Jerry Brightman, This has been along time coming and I can't wait to get a copy.
To all you folks that have never heard "THE MAN" play, please get a copy of this CD, I guarantee it will be AWESOME<<<<<.
By the way Jerry, I will be out of town in Kansas for a few days, for a Big Dodge Charger show in El Dorado, Ks.
Talk at you when I get home.
I was able to hear Jerry in St.Louis and I'll tell you I was blown away by his approach, style and ability. The cd is long awaited. Great success Jerry! Keep taking it to the next level!
Seeing and hearing this CD grow form the begining, i can vouch for the "blood, sweat and tears" that Jerry has put into this project. Jerry has made every effort for this CD to be "as good as it can possibly be". always concerned with "what everybody wants to hear",and never musically selfindulgent. Jerry, you've accomplished what you set out to do. A truly great CD! Congratulations, your best bud, Dana Flood
[This message was edited by Dana Wayne on 23 September 2002 at 02:08 AM.]

I think they all sound GREAT!
Iv'e been listening to some these tracks over the phone as Jerry was putting it all together, and let me tell you giys... this is really some fantastic steel playing, and the selection of songs is sure to please every taste. For me to say I am looking forward to getting a copy of Jerry's new CD would be a bit of an understatement! As always, I would wish you luck on this Jerry, but with talent like you have my dear friend, "luck" isn't a necessary prerequisite. My very best wishes to always in everything you do.
As usual, Danny beat me to the proper words for this new CD by Jerry B. (And with initials of JB, this has to be the perfect steel guitar CD to have. Waiting for my $15,000.00 copy also. Listening to Jerry on stage at the Grand Rapids show was a great pleasure for me. Not only his personal personna was on genuine display, but his playing was SUPERB. Really enjoy your talents Jerry, and cherish your friendship.
Tjhanks for that.
I have been to Jerry's website and listened to the clips from his new CD....innovative, skilled playing, and covers the bases of presentation of the steel guitar. A great piece of work. Enjoyed visiting with you recently Jerry and looking forward to hearing your performance at Dallas. www.genejones.com
What can be said about Jerry Brightman that hasn't already been said? His approach and production are top notch, his playing is expressive and his tunes are superb.
Thanks for sharing your soul with us, my friend. We're all looking forward to having a copy of your new CD.
Lets jam again like we did last summer oh yeah, now that I think about it, it was spring, but you heated things up so much we thought it was summer.
