Ernest , Love your new steel in its faetus stages , I like the way the undercarriage cross rods have been mounted.
I have posted a thread "beautiful bottom " on just this subject and wondering why most (if not all ) builders use several bits of 90 degree angle aluminum to mount these rods in, yours is a very nice finishing touch to the undercarriage.

I just got this one last Thursday new from Mullen. I literally gigged it right out of the box for a two-nighter and it performed flawlessly. I'm lovin' it.

Jackson tuning keys placement?

Post by Brad Malone »

Hey Chuck, Is it just an optical allusion or are your tuning keys on the Jackson placed farther away from the nut than on most Steels?..if so, very good idea..IMHO
