Outstanding Bobbe. I swear that if you had lost the whole hand you would still sound worlds better than me, not that you should try it out just to make that point. Anyway, you are a tremendous inspiration with a wonderful attitude.

"The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over."

Well as the old Spoonful song said, "Anyone who unpacks his guitar can play twice as better than I will."
Bobbe, my man, make that a thousand times better. Nothing but praise to our Lord, thanks to your doctors, and a lot of inspiration from you that makes this video so much fun to watch.
I would say "welcome back" but I think it would be more appropriate to say "He's doing it again!"
Be well my friend,

It is really great to see you in the drivers seat again Bobbe, and playing as good as ever and with a big grin too. I think many musicians of one instrument or another have had some sort of accident at one time or another which they overcame, we don't know why they happen but they put us to the test, maybe to help us to appreciate our God given talents in a new way and maybe to take stock of our lives, not really sure why. Django Reinhardt, who after loosing two fingers on his right hand came back to play guitar better than ever. Same with you Bobbe. As others have said earlier in this post, you can't keep a good man down![/i]

Recovery? Welcome back? Hey, the Dude has already booked a gig in Lexington, KY next weekend!! How is THAT for recovery??!!
I talked to Bobbe this afternoon and he again expressed how grateful he was to all those that wrote and called to wish him well and that it contributed a great deal to encourage him to keep at it. So, although Bobbe did a lot by himself to get back in the game, so did the positive response by us on the Forum, the private emails and the phone calls.
Believe me when I say he dearly and deeply appreciates the outpouring of love support given to him.
I also had to smile when he remarked that he was wanting to play so very much and had to sit there and just stare at all the steels on his display floor and because of the injury and bandages, he was unable to play any of them. But, he sure made up for lost time as soon as he could!
Thanks Bobbe, we appreciate you too.
