Many players do prefer natural grass to artifical surfaces.

Two necks, but three pedals. I guess he was not playing the back 10 that day.

The name Joel Patterson comes to mind. I think he's the guy who just put out a steel album called Steel is Real and plays with Beau Samples from the Cave Catt Sammy Band. Darn good picker too.

That's Gabriel Stutz of the Gin Palace Jesters, a really great local Chicago band. He's on the forum here. Pretty sure that must be his new ax. Last time I saw him he was playing a D-10 Dekley. Fantastic steel player, IMHO.

Playing on grass is no fun at all...the grass on the ground that it.
I did an outdoor gig recently and luckily I took my old steel - cause the legs started singing into the ground after the first 2 songs, not good.

I used to hate playing outside in the grass, but my wife got a piece of half inch plywood and fixed it with carpet just to where my steel and seat fit on it. Keeps everything off the grass and out of the dirt.

It's the Verizon Guy! "Can you hear me now"
Seriously though, Rittenberry Guitars can only be ordered and purchased through Bobbe Seymour at SGN. Bobbe has exclusive rights to Rittenberry as their only dealership/marketing outlet in the World, an agreement Gary & Bobbe have had since the Rittenberry's beginning. Note that it's a double neck with only 3 foot pedals. Maybe the back neck works as a non-pedal lapsteel. I'm sure Bobbe would remember who he sold it to.

It's also tough playing on such a soft surface.

Charlie, I wish I was that thin.
The fellow who took the photo got close enough to see the name Rittenbbury on the guitar.
