Smiley........you might consider taking alternate bids from other suppliers such as Home Depot as a means of "cutting some of your production costs".
That would help make this exquisitely crafted instrument available to many more players! www.genejones.com
P.S. Would there be any additional cost if a buyer wanted his Name stenciled on the front of the DOMINO?
[This message was edited by Gene Jones on 15 November 2002 at 05:11 AM.]

Why Jody, anybody can see the construction of the legs makes it easier to play from either end. Sort of like playing it whether you're coming or going.
BTW Smiley, I've got an idea for a revolutionary "Lightweight, Easily manouverable, Styrofoam bar" for ease of control and the mellowest tone possible. It also has what I call a "rubber-Klutz " band to eliminate bar droppage. !!!!!(no more bending over or searching)
[This message was edited by John P.Phillips on 15 November 2002 at 05:35 AM.]

I just put my order in for a 9 1/2 string model It's a push sometimes and a pull most of the times..I wanted a radio shack pick up on mine and it will be on wheels also. Also I am having telescope spring loaded legs added and it's a left haded one way turn it around and it's a right handed the other.Plus I want my legs made out of 2" PVC.

I like it, Smiles!
Ricky must be loosing sleep over the competition for his SS Hawaiian.
It still needs a good effects pedal.
I reccomend my patented Tone Clone.

BOY!!!! what a breath of fresh air! After being deluged with all the new and advanced models with space age materials, new and improved E9th tunings and fretless models,I am totally awe-struck. With one manufacturer now offering a wooden model of the finest woods, I must admit I am spinning in my tracks. These new ideas have whipped my into such a frenzy that I have not been able to decide which way to go...the new and improved or the retro bodies of yesteryear. NOW IT IS CLEAR, thanks to Smiley. Smiley you have captured the very essence of the steel guitar. This model not only incorporates the new and improved but also captures the retro body of the past. This is a thing of beauty, from the natural pine to the space aged material used in the construction..i.e. nuts and bolts. You have obviously done your market research as it is afforablely price for every household. Even piano players and drummers can go for this baby. It is uncanny how you have used "everyday" materials to construct such a superb instrument...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, from all of us. Please keep up the good work

Smiley....The words "wow" and "yikes" best describe my first impression of your still guitar which is undoubtedly on the cutting edge of steel guitar revolution.
I know you must be very proud of your cremation. I'm totally in aw of the entire guitar which is most certainly a concept without a doubt.
Best wishes in your new venture my snappy dressing long time dear friend, who plays his fanny off. To coin a phrase, "you have more talent in my little finger, than you've got in my whole body".

To Smiley and/or Reece:
Would you be interested in entering into an indorsement contract with me similar to the indorsements I have with other steel-guitar manufacturers who don't want my name associated in any way with their guitars...
i.e., "This player is absolutely NOT playing a DOMINO" .....or "This player is absolutely NOT playing a Millennium", etc
Let me know soon as my indorsements are in demand and my time is limited!
