On this cut by Lenny Breau, with whom Buddy made a record, is it Buddy on bass from 48 seconds in to one minute and 24 seconds in?

I believe upon occasion when a band already had a steel player, he would fill in on bass.

I think he played bass for Roger Miller at one time! Looks like we're all on top of this at the same time.

I'm pretty sure that Buddy is playing bass on Daryll McCall's cut of "It's My Lazy Day" it's just amazing.

I thought it was Mrs. Miller. (If you don't remember her, you're lucky.)

Mike,

That's news to me. But then my short term memory is failing.

I heard Buddy Emmons play bass live at one of the Jeffran Jams back around 1982. I think Johnny Cox and Jeff Newman were playing steel(s) at the time. During "Back Home in Indiana" they gave Buddy a bass solo... and as he played his solo he shouted "Hey, I'm still tryin' to Learn it!" with that Big E grin.
didn't he play bass for Roger Miller...?
No, Roger Miller Sang for Buddy Emmons! ;-)

Yeah, this is all fine and dandy, but...
Didn't Sho~Bud used to have T-Shirts made that Buddy would wear when Roger Miller, whose songs Glenn Thompson's bass-playing friend Johnny Polinsky used to sing, would back up Buddy's bass playing with vocals!?!?!? :whoa:
