Is Your guitar Male or female?
I have never at any time referred to any of My steels or six stringers as He or She.
I have never called them anything other than
by their make(name). They do'nt seem to mind.
If YOU do give Your instruments a name, please let us know how you arrived at that name and please tell us the difference between a male and female guitar.
best regards
Billy

All steels are female.
They whine.
Most guys can't get 'em to stop making noise once they start.
You have to fiddle with both ends constantly to keep the middle just right.
You have to flip 'em over and oil 'em up good...

Interesting thought. I must have found the only gigolo steel in the world. It's costing me a fortune. Won't get a day job. I gotta clean up after it. Very temperamental. I have to bring it new strings and little presents all the time. Takes a lot of foreplay to get it ready to play, but when it's right..and I touch those string just so....oh,man.. oh happy day!!

Male or female?
None of my guitars has ever said a word to me so they must be all males. A woman could never shut up that long.

My steel-my GFI Ultra D-10 is now known as "Redgold Beauty" and I think this guitar's got a female name if "Beauty" is in its nickname. Here's how the name came about, When I first bought the steel, there was no nickname, and for two years, I didn't have a nickname for the steel, but two years ago, I decided that, as beautiful as my GFI is, she needed a nickname, so one night, while I was sittin' at my computer, I thought of the name "Redgold Beauty" because those colors are really beautiful on the steel, and a lot of people have told me, "Your steel is a beauty". That's how "Redgold Beauty" became what she is today.
