I am curious as to the different setups everyone uses, and whether you are happy with what you have. I am extremely satisfied with my current setup after having gone through many different changes of equipment.

1)Candy apple red finish ZB SD-10 (3+5)
2)Jagwire stainless steel strings, E9 12-38
3)ZB volume pedal (Allen Bradley pot)
4)Boss RV3(I plug it into the send and return in the back of my Steel King. Sounds better this way)
5)Fender Steel King w original speaker(I don't use the amp's reverb. I use the RV3 for a little reverb and delay)
6)Jim Burden custom made wide stainless steel bar
7)Fred Kelly red polycarb thumbpick and two National NP2 fingerpicks
8 ) C.B.I Goldrush cables
9)Walker seat

What are the rest of you using?

Well this should be good for a laugh..

Homemade SD10, 4 and 5. All wood incl neck
A, B and C work great.
Ped 4 (Franklin)don't work so I unhooked it. Pedal is still there for cool factor.
Raise and lower E's on LKL and LKR work great
LKV lower 5&10 will work when I get a new, different shaped KL made
RKR lower 2 and half stop 9 works only on lower 2 a half tone. Half-stop broke.Must re-design.
RKL..at a loss as to what strings to hook it up to. Right now it's lowering 1 and 6. NO idea of it's function.

Sho-Bud v ped (narrow kind that hooks to the ped board. PEC pot
Nashville 112. Sweet.

One of these days I will attempt another youtube so y'all can hear what a homebuilt sounds like
:D :\

My current setup:

GFI S-10 Ultra -- not happy with the pickup, still fiddling with the copendent, but a sweet guitar

Tama HT730 drum throne -- very comfy, but needs a back-rest

Ernie Ball Steel Bar -- I'm thinking of trying out one of those glass bars

Propik fingertone picks and thumbpick -- the ONLY fingerpicks I'll use besides my nails.

SIT strings -- since I'm going to be changing my copendent around, I'll have to start ordering singles

Boss ME20 multifx pedal -- it's low to the ground, has a decent buffer and I really like the feel of the volume pedal. I sometimes use the distortion settings, but mainly I use it for the expression pedal, tuner and delay.

Fender Princeton Recording Amp -- hands down the best amp I've ever owned! Not powerful enough for a really loud band, but then I have a Twin for those situations!

George L's cables -- I love 'em!

Thanks fellas! Very interesting to see all the various different combinations. Anyone else out there care to divulge what you use and if you are content with it.
