Hi Ricky, am hoping to catch you guys when you hit Colorado. I am living here now and will be checking your schedule from time to time for date and place of your possible stop in Colorado.

There will be a Colorado Steel show on June 9th, sponsored by Dick Meis, and featuring some of the local players here in Colorado. Will be attending that show on June 9th, so hopefully your appearance will not happen at the same time, but will adjust if necessary to see you and the band again. Hope things go well on the West Coast. Keep in touch.

Best wishes and say hi to Dale, Billy D, and Scott for me.

Janice you are correct.....Scott Matthews is now with the Derailers......and guess who is on this tour with us???? ok give up???.....Brian Feriby.....that used to play with us for a few years and was on "Truckin' Sessions".....so what a treat to have him out on this tour.....he is awesome.
But Chris Gilson; Formally Redd Volkaerts drummer.....is now our drummer, but not able to quit his job for this tour yet.
Ok see ya'll out there.

Hi Ricky,

Do you know the time and location for the gig at Denver's Lion Lair? I am thinking about going up for the steel show and wanted to catch your show.

Like to hear you on your own rig. Thanks for any info. George

Saw the band and got to meet Ricky wed. night in Phoenix.I really felt bad for them cause I don't think more than 20 people were there. But they put on an excelant show despite.Actually for me it was kinda nice, it was like my own personal show.We got right up next to Ricky and watched. The boy sure can play, even does back up vocals. Thanks for the advice and words of wisdom Ricky, I'm glad I got to meet you. Its not hot in Phoenix is it? Will Oh ya just wanted to add I like the 4 piece band with the prominent steel right out there in front. If ya get a chance to see them do it.
[This message was edited by Will Houston on 01 June 2002 at 10:42 AM.]

If you want to see the show on the cheap you can go Sunday to the Blue Cafe in Long Beach CA. There is no cover sharge before 7:00 PM. Unfortunately Ricky and Dale won't start until about 9 or 9:30 and in the meantime the noise level is deafening.

Hey Ricky, I called the Lion's Lair today, and they don't seem to know a thing about it, but they steered me to a web site that had all the information. I will call back tomorrow and see if someone else knows anything.

My wife Gail and I will be up in Denver at the Dick Meis steel show that day, but will be stopping by to see you and Dale and the guys. Also, looking forward to seeing George there as well. I haven't been able to hook up with him yet, but maybe Sunday will be the day.

See you all then. Have a safe trip and say hi to the guys for me.

Hey Ricky,
Just wanted to thank you for the lesson on Saturday. I'm having problems remembering everything that you showed me. That show Saturday was probably the best I've seen you guys play, sorry that I missed the Hollyweird show.

Ricky,
Thank you for the great show last night. It was a pleasure seeing you play again. You sure had the harmonics going last night!

I also enjoyed the chance to meet Gary Brandin and watch him play his lacquer bolt-on Emmons.
[This message was edited by Chris Lucker on 05 June 2002 at 05:09 PM.]
