Sounds almost too personal? I'm sure the phrase, "keep your hands to yourself" was derived from this? It can be a complicated situation when hands don't get along or when one hand cheats on the other. I'm sure Dear Abby would suggest holding hands with yourself as much as possible ("get a grip on yourself"). Fighting hands is worse than restless legs. If you have both, you really have problems!

Reminder: The informal friday night jam is 6pm - 10pm at the Electric Park Ballroom. We'll set up in a circle on the dance floor. Pickers, singers and dancers welcome. Some of the vendors will be there also.
You should try a set of Jagwire strings, if you haven't already been hooked on them. I'm old and have tried ALL brands. I tried a set of Jagwires three years ago and found them superior in every aspect.

My mentor used to take his strings off, boil them and put them back on. Seemed to bring them back to life, but I have my doubts about intonation.

Roger, try circumcising it before removing it. Tone to the bone!
Drink the water? You never know where those strings have been!

I regret to say that I need to officially cancel my slot at this year's show. We are receiving the brunt of a major winter storm. The modot map shows all routes going north of Springfield, MO are snow and ice covered, with the forecast saying that the storm will hang around another 24-30 hours. I held off doing this as long as I could in the hope that the forecast would be wrong, but it was not.
To Lefty, Dennis, and Kirk, please accept my sincere apologies, but it looks like we're in for a bad one and the risk is too great. I was honored by the invitation, and if in the future you feel you can extend me another, I'll make every effort to get there. I extend my best wishes to all of you.

Mike,
"We'll keep the light on for ya!"
Winter events are always a risk. Unfortunately, the path of this storm has literally cut us off from the south.
We were looking forward to having you debute at the NEISGS. But, we'll try again next time.
Now, someone else has to close for me??

We'll keep in touch old friend!
Dennis
