The Lloyd Green response to:who's that ugly guy?
In my picture on Bill Crooks web-site of me,I asked "Who is that real ugly guy behind me in the picture"? Well I feel I should share the answer that Lloyd E-mailed me, He replied to this question :Bobbe,
You asking who the ugly guy in your otherwise handsome photo, is akin to the proverbial pot calling the kettel black!!
Actually.if you haden't positioned yourself in front of me,and had the camera man (Bill Crook)been a little more cognizant of his true subject,I believe the outcome would have resulted in a remarkable photo of the most perspicacious individual at the table. Look the word up and you'll discover the identity of the "ugly fellow!! L.D.G. Un quote-----
What's he trying to say guys? Is he insulting me? Is he saying I"M the ugly guy?
Now that I look back at it , I feel he may just possibly have some merit to his gracious response, What do you think? Am I out matched? Guess I'll lick my wounds and go home!
Seriously, Lloyd may be getting ready to add another chapter of great playing to all our lives, He sure has added a lot in the past!

Bobbe, it must be difficult for Lloyd to even read your comments. Have you noticed that Lloyd never misspells anything. He also has all of his hair. Does " another chapter of great playing " have any reference to a new C.D. maybe? Please let us know.

b0bbe:
Obviously you didn't cut and paste Lloyd's email. Besides being eloquent in his recitations, he is a stickler for proper spelling so I bet you have him climbing the walls. At any rate I have decided that if we all were in a beauty contest, Tommy White and I would tie for first place!!!!!! Smoke that one in your hair!

Also, some Lloyd Green tab would be really great. His playing needs to be documented for American music history in every possible way. Not to mention how much we'd learn from playing a tune exactly like him. I'd go down to Nashville and tab as much of his stuff as he could handle.... any time. At my own expense.
