Calvin that was great, now all you need is to link the chords, by that I mean the from one chord to the next,
this when the 7th chord come's into play , if your in C and the next chord is F then you play C7 just before the change it's a feel thing.
I'm so glad you have overcome the nerves and posted the rersults .
We know where your coming from now, watch out David Hartley.

Calvin just enjoy playing your guitar, by the way you have a real nice tone on the steel. If I'm ever in your part of the world I would like to shake your hand for what you have done, it takes a lot of gut's to do what you just done. Where abouts are you in the states are you.

Well Calvin, now that you've started something, I'll come out of the closet too.

Don't let the stage fool ya, it still amateur night. Yes, I usually play with that tremble.

The sound guy must have really liked steel or never heard one before he has me above the vocals. I guess he wanted me to hear my mistakes.

Anyway, flame away, http://youtube.com/watch?v=Pz1a5WCbXa0

If you listen, thanks. If you don't, also thanks.

Calvin,

not fair you play better than me. I don't think so. I also say that about every steel player I've heard. There isn't a week that doesn't go by and I ask myself, will I ever get any better.

Like I heard a fiddle player say about an accordion player one day, "after playing that long, you'd think he'd be better".

Keep on pickin',
Jim

Larry

i just checked my e-mail and it was not there
i'll give it a few minutes and maybe it will show up

Dick

i just used an old Minolta Dimage Z2 camera with a 512MB data card in it . it takes both still photos and movies
as far as what i'm playing with its a Mullen SD-10 going to a Hilton volume pedal then straight to the amp. the sound tracks go straight into my amp also the cd player is just a $29.00 wal-mart thingy altho i did have to get a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter at radio shack to be able to plug the cd player into the amp
i know nothing about all that fancy stuff some of the guys use

Jim

i had no idea you played dobro...i have thought about those but never had any idea how they worked ..oh and of course you play great ...like you didn't already know that haha

There were a few things in that vid I have to remark on:
You play better than me.
Your Emmons looked like a million bucks. I am envious.
I loved your palm blocking.
You looked so damn relaxed and self-assured on that stage.
You keep it up man.
