BTW...It has 4 pedals and 5 knees. Pedal 4 is the Franklin change....Was so looking forward to my Bands three gigs this week end...but they all got cancelled cause our Drummer/ Lead singer had to go to the Hospital for emergency eye surgery! Anyone in the chgo/milw area need a player this week-end??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JD
Jory,
Great looking Mullen and we know you're very proud...give us a few details about what you like about it such as feel, tone, etc. What a way to start the New Year off Carl
Well I've been playin My Emmons p/p (1981 Original owner) since '81. Over the last year I bought and sold A Rains, and a Fessy. Both were cheaply built ( Just My Opinion) and kinda light and noisy. I love my p/p, but I'll be playing this Mullen and probably will keep it. Anyway I Digress......
ITs beautiful! Well built....tight, smooth. Quality all the way! Wallace TT sounds great! Actually its my second Mullen...I had a Black Pre RP a few years ago and sold it 'cause I needed Money. Big mistake I discovered later. I was going to order an Emmons SD10. but after seeing a few...even THEY did not compare to the craftsmanship of the Mullen.

Welcome back into the Mullen family! That's a pretty guitar. In the picture of the underside of the guitar, what is that device that is at the very bottom of the picture? It looks like a rod going through a shock spring, like on an Emmons push/pull.

There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.
Yeah...cool,eh? You see when I had my p/p built in 1981. I wanted 1/2-stop tuners on 2 and 6 Lowers. So thats what these are. 1/2 stops on string six,and string two...then I push a little more and they lower the whole step.Del came up with this design for me! and they work great! Thanks Mr Mullen!
Lee-it looks like to me it has the old Sho-Bud barrell tuners and they can be independently adjusted. Nice setup, great undercarriage ,
High quality guitar. one of mine is a wood lacquer S12. Pre-Royal. I like it...al.:):)

What is cool is he has both the 2nd and 6th string 1/2 stop tuners on the same spring loaded rod. The longer part of the Barrel is the tuner....left one is for the 2nd string, and the right one is for the six string.
oh, jory what a nice p.s.g. makes me remmber the one i bought from herby wallace in 1986 should have kept that black d-10 take care see you at the wisconsin jam...
