Many thanks, Craig - good pics!

I need to contact Van again - that looks like 1950s Tele he has there! He's a great player.

The guitar he plays is very well worn, so you are probably right about it. He plays extremely well, fast, and very tasty. Van has moved back to Monclair, NJ
Regards, Craig

I cried because I had no shoes, then I met a man who had no feet.

Van Manakas and Bruce Chappelle have been with us since at least 1980. Larry Eagle is the veteran. Larry has been with us continuously, when not otherwise engaged, since 1976!! (Heck he's a part of the Springsteen group which says it all.) Larry and the guys are PSGA family!

They are all the best professional musicians available to us in the Tri-State NY Metropolitan area, as are Dave Sonneborn, Steve Alcott and Fooch Fischetti. Bruce, Fooch, and Steve are also fine pedal steelers and do gigs on both steel, Bass and in Fooch's case, Fiddle.

We are so thankful for their continued support by playing our show. It's NOT an easy gig!!!

Well,.....they sure make it look easy......and as much as it's a steel show.....it's an education in musicianship...... to watch how these guys seemlessly enhance and bring out the best in the steel player's playing and a vocalist's singing.....

You see, that's what's so beautiful about it.

When I go see someone's show, it's usually "me, me, me," approach. Well, like Russ Hicks Trio "Me, I and myself" ( sorry russ :P )

It's very refreshing!!
