Well, you guys can sit around wishin' and hopin' that you're gonna win the dang lottery, but not me. No sir. I'm gonna EARN my money! That's right. Why, right now, I'm awaiting the arrival of two children of the ex-Foreign Minister of Nigeria, who are coming to live with me for the next 6 months to take guitar lessons every day! Can you believe that? EVERY DAY! Oh, yes, their mother (the poor widow) said that they would be needing a truly excellent guitar teacher and that I had come highly recommended. Imagine that! Me!? My reputation has spread all the way to Africa! Well, how could I possibly turn her down? I mean, she was so nice and all in her email. And I'm gonna be getting paid GOOD MONEY too! That's what she said. 'GOOD MONEY'! Hah! When was the last time YOU blokes got paid 'GOOD MONEY', huh?

So, y'know, she was a little short on cash right now for sending the kids over to America, because their stupid Government had frozen all of their bank accounts due to some ridiculous misunderstanding or something, but she was sure that a "Mr. Mobutu" (I think he's pretty important) was going to get that all cleared up within just 60 days and then she'd be in a position to pay me back the $7,000 I wired to her bank account so she could send the kids over here for the lessons. And she's even gonna pay me 18% interest on that! Hah! When was the last time any of YOU suckers got paid 18% interest? 1978 or somethin'? Hah!

Well, I gotta go fix up the kids' room some more. This is gonna be so cooool!

Oh, and the rest of you suckas... Good Luck with your Stoopid Lottery! Hah-haaaah!!

p.s. Maybe someday you'll wise up.

Jim,
With all that "good money" you'll be making, you should buy the Purple Fessy on eBay. BId high! You'll need the extra guitar for your teaching room, and Purple is the national color of Nigeria.

Actually it's Green, but don't let facts confuse you..

Jim, you should be somewhat leary of this deal. It sounds great but it could be a scam! You should at least require a receipt for the $7000.00.

Well, it's up to $840, so it appears that bids are still being accepted. Maybe someone needs to buy it this and have the fraud completed before eBay finally agrees to not list it anymore

You guys will fall for anything.

For myself, I won't have to worry about working soon because I have it on good authority that a bank in Switzerland is holding $20,000,000 for me, in an account in the name of another Brookes, and all I have to do is claim to be his long-lost second cousin and I shall inherit what is rightfully mine.
I've waited all my life for this and I certainly deserve what's coming to me. ;-)

This is the new guitar that I traded Damir Besic for a new Promat, it is as fine as any Fessenden ever built in all seriousness. Fessy fans needent worry about the quality of this one.
I'm sure some of you sharp forum guys remember this guitar from a couple of years ago.
I don't know who ownes it now or who is selling it, but if you ever liked Fessies, this was a great one when it left my store.

OH, be sure to have the seller throw in some dark colored glasses,

I know nothing of the seller, just the guitar, so it might be a good idea to check the deal out.
You know how weird these things can be.

Hey Jimbeaux and all you forumites, if I counted all the similar e'mails to me I'd be a rich man. It's always from Africa, and they talk in Millions not thousands Lol :)...problem is some poor unsuspecting persons could reply to them, then they will ask for your bank details to "transfer" the money to "your" account. Next thing that happens is that they clear out your account. Believe me they are clever people. NEVER reply to them. When I first got my first computer years ago, I got one of these e'mails, and thought I had struck gold. I asked my mate who is a computer whizz and he just said "Bin it" ....Well, here I am, still a poor picker, but what I have will be for me and mine and not be winging it's way to Africa.

I'm still looking for a dark blue Fessy S12U that was stolen from my house a couple of years ago. If anyone ever sees it, let me know.

Thanks for the info David. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
Not much a thief would want with a S12 except to re-sell it.

Hey, wait a minute!! I thought I won the Nigerian lottery and that rich diplomat's widow was sending me $300,000,00. I've also won the Arizona, South Dakota, and California lotteries and the money will be rollin' in any day now.
