A nice blend of old and new technologies. Where did you get the horseshoe pickup ?

That pickup was built by Rick Aiello and Jason Lollar. It has been discontinued and I have designed a replacement using the same vintage style coil by Jason. I have the metal parts machined in San Jose and then send them to Rick for his magic touch with the magnet install. Back to me for the final assembly with ebony spacers and VOILA!!

Basil: I like the Bennett's sound. I keep the tone control rolled off a fair bit so it's a pretty warm tone.
Why d'you ask? Have you any thoughts on a Bennett's sound or have you not heard one?
Just wondering if you think the sound's flawed in some way on his instruments
