I wish I could be there. Scotty Anderson is known as the master of the double stop in Arlen Roth's "Masters of the Telecaster."
My friend, Ed Harper, told me that the last performance by Scotty and Herby together at this show was incredible. |

This Sunday, March 19, 2000! Someone should record this event: The Master of the Mullen and a Master of the Telecaster playing together! |

Scotty is bringing his band and will play a set. Herby will play a set with the local band and then Scotty and Herby will jam together.
If you are within driving distance, then you do not want to miss it. I wish I were.
Middletown is about half-way between Cincy and Dayton. Around Exit 32 on I-75.
Herby says that Scotty plays double stops (two notes in harmony together) faster than many players can play single-string riffs![This message was edited by Frank Estes on 16 March 2000 at 08:50 AM.] |
