In my neck of the woods the "Doxology" is oft times called "the table prayer".

And, yes, we are not ashamed to thank our Lord for all the blessings He has bestowed on us before we partake of his bounty.

There might be an occasion where you are called upon to play this song of blessing.

If you would like a copy of the tab for the "Doxology", just give me a shout and I would be pleased to drop it in the mail to you. If you haven't requested tab before, I will be needing your postal address.
BTW, all my tabs are for the E9th pedal tuning.
