It was nice to read the DALAND story in there. A couple details left out are that Ray Butts helped Garland with the pickups -- very early humbuckers-- and that the pedals were the same pedals Don Davis used on dragsters. Shot Jackson also used them along with the other DALAND plunger mechanics on some early pedal conversions of Fenders.
