I think it's Paul Franklin. I know Paul Sr. told me that Paul played on some of her recordings.

It's not Paul in that video. He did play on some of her records.

This is Bucky Baxter, it's been discussed a few times - e.g.,

http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=148847
http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=173614

Bucky sounds great on this cut. In fact, I would hate to have been the guitar player that had to follow his solo on this - there's nothing whatever wrong with it, he plays it well, but seems like the very definition of 'anticlimax', and I don't see what any guitar player could have done to change that. That, to me, is the real power of steel guitar in the right hands.

My reference to Paul was in response to Bent's query.

Sorry Jerry, I didn't read the full thread.

It was indeed Paul on the original (I had that record).

I thought he looked familiar. Great player. There are some more vids on YouTube from that concert.

Thanks

I opened a topic about Bucky Baxter a while ago.
He played fantastic steel with Steve Wariner in the mid 80's,I spoke with Steve Wariner about him.
Bucky made a solo cd years ago on which he played almost every instrument.("most likely no problem")
The topic was about this video of Bucky:
